Q) What is Stepping Stone Kitchen?

A) We are a shared use kitchen located in the Riverbend neighborhood of New Orleans available for rent 24/7 for an affordable hourly fee.


Q) How does Stepping Stone Kitchen work?

A) Simple! After the required documents are on file (application, insurance, food vendor’s license) and you've had a tour of the kitchen to familiarize yourself with the equipment and our rules and protocol, you're ready to book kitchen time. We offer a flat hourly rate or chefs packages that are paid in advance of kitchen usage.

Q) Can I come by and see the kitchen?

A) We would love to show you our space! Please call me at (504) 247-7546 and I will contact you to set up a time to visit.  I look forward to meeting you and discussing your goals!

Q) How many other chef's will be using the kitchen while I’m in it?

A) It depends. More than likely, you will be sharing with a couple fellow food entrepreneurs. Management will schedule chefs in a way that ensures a safe, efficient working environment for everyone.

Q) What do I wear in the kitchen?

A) For your own safety, we require closed toed, non-slip footwear.


Q) Will someone clean up after me?

A) Each chef is responsible for cleaning up after themselves, including all equipment used, tables and floors. We supply all the necessary cleaning supplies and trash bags. All cleaning is done during your scheduled time. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe environment for all our chef's. 


Q) How do I pay for my time in the kitchen?

A) We accept checks made payable to Stepping Stone Kitchen, Visa and MasterCard. All fees must be paid in advance.
